The Indian Yoga:
The science of Yoga has its roots since thousands of years, long before the first religion or belief system was born. In the Yogic culture, Shiva is not known as a God, but as the “Adiyogi” or the “first yogi” –the originator of yoga. he was the one who first put this seed into the human mind.
The yogic science is not about a yoga class that you go through about to bend your body or hold your breath which every unborn infant knows. This is the science of understanding the mechanics of entire human system.
“Yoga is the light, which once lit, will never dim. The better you practice, the brighter the flame”. whatever dimension of existence you are in right now,you can go beyond that-there is another way to live-“you can evolve beyond your present limitations if you do the necessary work upon yourself”- that is the significance of Adiyogi.

Yoga triggers our body’s natural adaptive& rejuvenating powers. As for athletes or sports persons, Yoga can be a powerful enhancement in regular training exercise.
When I see an athlete on the field, I truly appreciate the hurdles they’ve overcome &the struggles they’ve endured to reach where they are today. To excel at any sport, it takes burning passion, sheer mental toughness& tremendous self discipline to train & suffer for hundreds & hundreds of hours.
That is why I am more inspired by a sportsman putting up a fight, spilling the last drop of sweat & blood chasing the Victory. Sports is more than just a game, SPORTS IS LIFE.
And Yoga inculcates such sportsmanship & athleticism qualities. Yoga means addition-addition of energy, strength and beauty to body, mind &soul. The essence of yoga is to make the process of life as efficient &enjoyable as possible. It is our birth right to have access to this information it is a sign of our wisdom if we use it, our enlightment if we share it. Yoga is no less magical than the power of life itself. It unlocks life’s wonder & unleashed hidden energies.
It has taken time for us to wind ourselves up in a Knot. Naturally it takes time to unravel. If we are still breathing, it is never too soon or late to start yoga.
